Playgarden

Across 12 workshops, we will gather to explore play as a way of being present and the garden as a place for imagination. Through crafting, cooking, foraging, hiding, and storytelling, we will co-design a series of site-specific games rooted in the local landscape and its history.

Every session brings a new theme, with activities adapting to the group’s ideas over the twelve weeks. We’ll document our journey to build a living archive- a published collection of games, memories, drawings, and recipes that will live in the library for future visitors to play with.

Open to all ages, Playgarden bridges the gap between childhood imagination and adult curiosity. How do we play without set rules? What old games do we remember, and what new ones can we create together?
